Whether you’re new to chess or looking to strengthen your skills, the Guildhouse Chess Club offers a welcoming and enriching environment for players of all ages and experience levels. Join us every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for an engaging session of strategy, learning, and fun.

Each session is led by John Loftus, a FIDE National Instructor with over 20 years of coaching experience. Coach Loftus specializes in identifying individual areas for improvement and delivering targeted instruction to help players grow. Sessions include a mix of guided lessons, casual games, and friendly mini-tournaments designed to build confidence and elevate gameplay.

This event is ideal for beginners and intermediate players who want to improve their tactics, explore new strategies, and connect with fellow chess enthusiasts in a supportive setting.

Snacks and beverages are available for purchase at our shop, with convenient payment via Venmo. Seating is limited, so we encourage you to arrive early, bring a friend, and claim your board.
